Description

This course (training) is designed to meet the ongoing health and safety training requirement for all child care providers (licensed and license exempt). This training is offered both online and face to face. Providers must complete either the online training OR a face to face training. Providers will only receive training hours for either the online OR the face to face training, not both. The courses(trainings) are the same. This course is the online version.

This training is the first in a series of three refresher trainings and covers the following four health and safety topics:
● Administration of Medications
● Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid
● Recognition and Management of Food Allergies, and
● Infectious Disease Management

This training is designed for both licensed and license exempt providers. There will be times in the training that licensing rules for center and family based licensed child care providers are cited. These are requirements for licensed providers. They are recommendations for license exempt providers.
