Tara has been a professional in the school age field for about 22 years. She studied sociology and psychology at WCCC and studied psychology and animal behavior at the University of Michigan. She was Assistant Director of Summer Camp of Champions in ANN ARBOR, Operations and Program Director for Skylark Ranch Girl Scout Camp in Pescadero, California, served as a Service Learning expert while completing a year of service with VISTA and has provided direct care as a camp counselor and as classroom enrichment specialist and program director for before and afterschool programming. Tara has worked the last 11 years with M&M Extra Care, a company that facilitates Great Start to Quality star rated school age before and afterschool care at five schools in Southeast Michigan. Tara currently serves as Operations Director for M&M, providing coaching, training and support to the staff at all five programs and oversees compliance with Great Start to Quality, licensing and company goals.
